THE TIN CAN COLLECTIVE

The Thrill Is Gone And I Can't Get It Back

The Tin Can Collective Return with “The Thrill is Gone and I Can’t Get It Back”

Long Island’s own Indie-Emo-Punk band, The Tin Can Collective, have released their fifth full-length album, The Thrill is Gone and I Can’t Get It Back, out now as of September 12, 2025. Formed in 2011 by John Warren, the band has evolved from a humble home recording project into a close-knit creative family featuring Jess Warren on guitar and vocals, Cass Kadow on drums, and bassist and visual artist Paul Motisi, who also designed the album art.

Recorded live in a living room and produced by Will Forthman and Jay Carrie of Dinos in Vietnam Productions, the album was mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Jack Shirley (Jeff Rosenstock, Deafheaven, Joyce Manor). The single “Trouble” captures the band’s signature mix of raw honesty and melodic grit, channeling years of DIY energy into something deeply reflective yet full of life. This new record reaffirms The Tin Can Collective’s enduring place in the Long Island music scene.
