The Party After Release Debut Album Dopamine Machine
The Party After have officially dropped their debut full-length album Dopamine Machine this July, marking a huge milestone for the Omaha-based trio. Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Jared William Gottberg, alongside drummer Derek Talburt and bassist Tony Bates, the band has carved out their own lane of dystopian party rock after more than a decade of trials and setbacks.
Recorded in Mexico City at Topetitud Estudios, the album is a raw and honest exploration of chasing fame, navigating turmoil, and holding on to dreams. Tracks like Blast Off dive into the darker sides of ambition, while One For All delivers a unifying message about strength in community.
With influences ranging from Pink Floyd to 311, the record blends hard-hitting rock with spacy, grungy textures. Already back to booking shows, The Party After will headline Kearney, Nebraska’s Fecht Fest on September 19, and are already hard at work on album number two.
