The New Citizen Kane Unveils Reflective and Emotional EP “Could Have Been”

The New Citizen Kane has dropped his latest EP, “Could Have Been,” a touching five-track piece that moves him toward a more personal and reflective sound. Coming out this week, the EP takes listeners on an emotional ride through themes of love, nostalgia, and self-reflection.

The self-titled track “Could Have Been” is a long, forlorn sigh about exes through poignantly beautiful lyrics and lush indie-pop melodies, while “Forget The World” provides a very uplifting counterpoint in a warmly electronic manner of beats, with words on celebrating the joys one should be living within a moment.
