Sonamó Presents “Ma Che Vuó” Which Combines Neapolitan And Brazilian Rhythms

On the 28th of February, 2025, the San Francisco based band Sonamó released their new single, “Ma Che Vuó,” which incorporates the ancient school of Neapolitan singing and the Brazilian rhythms. The lavish melody captures the essence of international culture, with energetic beats and attractive accordion sounds aligned to a constant rhythm, ensuring movement is uncontrollable.

Sonamó, an italian band based in san francisco celebrated for their modern funk, blended with Latin, and world music to create a stunningly energetic rhythm was founded by singer songwriter Giuseppe Pinto. With “Ma Che Vuó,” the band enhances this fusion to a deep level, turning it into a strong anthem filled with passion and incredible percussions complimented with the spirit of Neapolitan music and the second line of Brazil.

To capture the feeling presented in the song, the video takes its audience on a tour of three famous cities: San Francisco, Naples, and Rio de Janeiro. The band plays from the rooftop of a building overlooking the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, while Pinto brings the streets of his old Neapolitan city alive as he walks through them.
