Siren Section Presents “Glass Cannon”: A New Chapter in Their Artistic Development

As part of their never-ending shattering of boundaries, Siren Section released a new single “Glass Cannon” on the 25th of February, 2025. This song describes turbulent emotions associated with decaying relations and changing views through the used of escapism and self-destructive themes. It features a mix of industrial pop and shoegaze and would surely resonate with the fans of My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, and Radiohead. 

This single “Glass Cannon” serves as a new beginning for the duo from Los Angeles who have been describing their sound as “glitchgaze”. After years of collaboration starting out in high school, John and James now blend their influences of punk, hardcore, and shoegaze proving that fresh exciting music is alive and well. Having had their work recorded professionally for the first time marks a milestone for the audio engineer turned artist and the photographer turned musician.
