SHNO Shocks Fans With The Release Of Their First-Ever Song “DARK”

Independently based London artist SHNO has officially stepped onto the music scene with their single “DARK” which was dropped on April 4th, 2025. SHNO collaborated with producer Major Skills and composer Joe-Pietro Abela to aid them help build a personal track exploring themes of love and pain that comes with heart break.

The gripping piece of music “DARK” started as a gripping poem “DARK” written after a breakup with a film director. SHNO reveals discomforting concepts and captures the candid nature of self-doubt and mental health disorders which builds a cathartic and relatable experience. Set out to express things that are otherwise buried in silence.

Cross country single recording in Netherlands Rotterdam added an element of uniqueness to the track. Major Skills helped create the track in the studio while Joe-Pietro Abela’s early involvement shaped the overall feel of the song.

With the release of “DARK”, SHNO expresses fear alongside a blend of loneliness that many face on a daily basis, “I’m afraid of the dark, you know what I mean.” With such raw honesty true SHNO’s fans gets to see, they get a glimpse of the emerging voice that will break boundaries.
