Sheldon Mashugana is celebrating Thanksgiving with a playful new single, “It’s Turkey Day,” released on October 13th, 2026.

Created by Sheldon Mashugana, the comedic alter ego of Dallas-based performer Dean Morgan, alongside Crystal Carr, the song offers an upbeat and humorous take on one of America’s best-known holidays. The track follows Sheldon and Crystal as they chase after a turkey on Thanksgiving Day, even making their way to a Dallas Cowboys game while plenty of fart jokes add to the comedy.

Both artists co-wrote the song, with Crystal Carr and Justin Pierce creating the music. Recording took place in Atlanta, Georgia, before the track was mixed at Justin Pierce Music in Dallas, Texas. A doubled vocal technique also gives the song a distinctive, lively sound.

With Sheldon’s comedy bits and Crystal’s melodic vocals, “It’s Turkey Day” delivers a cheerful celebration of family, food, laughter and Thanksgiving fun.
