A: The song “Leaves in the River” was written on personal experiences and observations of my surroundings. I wanted to capture nostalgia and reflection upon one’s past experiences and interactions with others.

A: To me, songwriting involves painting a picture through words that takes the listener into an experience where they feel like they are actually there with me. My lyrics draw on my environment and memory which help me to recreate those times.

A: It creates atmosphere for a story, providing substance for the mood throughout. Dark coldness connected with Halloween helps to create perfect background for inner journey of self-exploration.
4. Q: Sensory details such as rain, leaves, and cold make this song quite atmospheric; how did you come about incorporating these elements into your songs?
A: I strongly believe in sensory imagery that causes emotional response or establishes connections between listeners and writers. This makes it possible for me to use real life instances that can be easily related to by people when writing lyrics.

A: Ultimately, leaves in the river is about time passing by quickly and life being short-lived . Herein lies symbolism as leaves drifting away with river reflect transient character of human existence.

A: Creating a narrative arc for a song is an intricate balance between pacing, structure and emotional gravitas. Through lyrics and melody, I build up suspense leading to expectation and engagement from the audience.

A: I am constantly working on new musical creations as well as seeking other creative outlets for my artistic energies.
