Schuz-the solo project of Boise, ID-based Spencer Schumacher unveils his newest single, “Chirp,” which is due out on September 27, 2024. Merging organic and synthetic spheres, “Chirp” is an immersive listening experience. Whenever Spencer isn’t on stage, the man usually is so outdoorsy, camping and fishing or doing something like snowboarding. He himself says, “Outside of music, it’s gonna be working out, camping, fishing, spending time with my wife, playing with my two little dogs, or snowboarding.” It’s that relation with nature that makes his music the way it is, as it can find inspiration in all of his surroundings and transform those into sound.

Schuz’s path as an artist reflects the hard work not only for his crafts but most importantly, to the world that goes along with it. Performances in Oasis Festival and a variety of clubs have made him receive attention, yet it really goes back to his unique sound that allows him to be different. “My intention as a producer is to make music-crafting enjoyable and to do it consistently over a series of releases. This is what motivates me to show up and to continue releasing my music into the world,” he says.
