### s1ms Blends Genres Effortlessly With the Newest Single: GIRLTRAP

As the new year approaches, denver based electronic musician s1ms releases an original EP titled GIRLTRAP on January 25, 2025. This powerful project showcases the multifaceted capability to blend different genres coherently reflecting the identity as an artist.

The EP track “Waste Away” hits with deep bass energy while “See” switches to a more ethereal future pop approach. Following the late 2024 debut album FRUITION, the determination and growth s1ms carries is abundantly clear in GIRLTRAP. S1ms signature sound consisting of meticulous layering, dynamic mixing, and synthesized elements, results in well crafted yet unrefined emotion.

Self produced in Ableton 12, this project further reflects the determination and raw talent s1ms embodies. From composition to mastering the project is crafted using a blend of analog and digital synthesizers. Each vocal element is meticulously curated from various sample platforms, allowing s1ms to craft the desired sound.

Though s1ms took the unconventional approach to music, taking years in between, this only made the now bank working music producer to start sound design as a way of storytelling. GIRLTRAP proves to be more than an EP, but instead a testament to s1ms versatile and personal artistry.
