Love 2 Love You

Q How did turning a personal poem into a song influence the emotional tone of Love 2 Love You?

A. When I stumbled on the poem again and after reading it again, I relived that time period, I knew the tone had to be intimate. Like a whisper you barely can hear and keeping it simple. The best songs are simple songs. I simplicity lies the genius sort of speak

Q How important was it to show your personal mistakes openly instead of hiding them?
A. The imprtance lies that through the hardship, I als made faults and I ask in the poem for forgiveness.
Leaving that out of the song and you get a whole other song. Ofcourse in the beginning I feklt naked.
All sort of thoughts crossed my mind and at the same time it liberated me. It brought me piece and I cried a lot of happiness that I had made it this far . Isn’t that a miracle that one poem can save your life?

Q Did you intentionally try to connect the idea of love with nature when you compared it to the sea and its tides?
A. That was intentionally because life is truly like the tides. You have highs and lows. How we face them determines the outcome..

Q How do you see the relationship between love, time, and anxiety in your own life?
A. Love and anxiety are a thin line, I have learned over time to face my anxiety, I had to other wise I wouldn’t have made it so far and I would only be a memory of my loved ones. You can walk away of everything except of yourself. I have learned to be Brave. Brave is facing defeat and refuse to be defeated.

Q How do you hope listeners interpret the theme of humility in your lyrics?
A. I sincerely hope they cry and feel all the emotions of their own lives. It is a hopeful song.
So at the end of the song the listeners still thinking about their own lives. Everyone fights his own batlles. So it is important to leave a message that there is hope for everyone. I call God, Some Higher power. In reality it doesn’t matter what you believe. Believe something where you feel at home. That can sometimes bring soul digging forth.

Q Do you feel that gratitude can help people overcome emotional pain?
A> Grattitude is the key factor. I know it is not easy and being grateful for something you haven’t received yet asks for another mindset. Being thankful makes you feel warm and cozy. I am thankful for everything. I had to learn that the hard way. Without pain no gain. Without rain no growth

Q Was there a moment in your life that made you realize how powerful healing can be?
A. Yes I know the exact moment. I felt a change within me as soon I excepted my illness, heartbreak and loss of everything I loved instead of fighting it. I have fought so long on a certain moment I got so tired that I literally want to die.

So i took my pen and wrote a little poem out of despair.. I hid the poem it was my secret light. My way of healing. There are endless ways of healing. From the moment you accept that is half the healing and from there you can workk back to the light.

Q When creating music at home, does the intimate space help you express deeper emotions?
A. Yes it does, it is comfy there is no pressure. It gives me personal more emotional freedom.

Q What do you want listeners to feel when they hear the line that asks if love returns back to you?
A. I really wish they feel that it is possible. It is possible for everyone. The people that I spoke it was a select group said all the same “Love 2 Love You” has an deep emotional impact and I agree. Not That I am so good but because it is a song out of despair hoping find the light again. The lyrics don’t give closure. The music does

Q How do you decide what personal experiences are meant to be turned into music?
A. For me personal: Personal experiences should inspire other people or helping them further. Then it is suitable for music. Ofcousrse opinions can differ

Q Do you see your songwriting as a form of self-reflection or more as a way to connect with others?
I speak for my self it is self reflection and at the same time the music connects. “Love 2 Love You” does that basically. In November 25 and january 26 two new songs will be released “Healing of Your Soul” and “Your Loving Grace” The first takes you on a journey the second I show you my world. My thoughts which is self-reflection and the music aims to connect.

Q How important is faith or spiritual belief in shaping your songwriting process?
A. For me it is essential. I believe deeply in God although I have no religion.
You don’t need a religion to believe in God. Ever seen a child born with a Bible or Koran or whatever scripture? When God wanted us to have one we would be born with one.

Q Have you found that honesty in your lyrics helps you understand yourself better?
Honesty is the key metric. It doesn’t help to lie because lying to someone is also lying to yourself. The truth is the truth. IYou never have to remember that. Lying is a heavy task because you have to memorize that.. So honesty in my lyrics helps me better understand myself and also gives some times new perceptions

Q Do you think music can change how people see their own anxieties and healing journeys?
Music can directly influence the modd and lyrics strngthen those feelings.

Q What do you hope listeners take away from the idea that healing is both a gift and a choice?
That they have their own life in their hands. No matter how hard or deep you are there is always hope. There is always some one who saids from someone you leatst expect it. “I believe in You wonderful Soul” I believe in you, You can do it. You are going to make it!!
That could be a new lyric. Oh it is a lyric of a song that ihave finished.
