Formed in New Jersey in 1990 by vocalist Darren Johnson, also known as Cobra, and guitarist Mark Fahad, known as The Outlaw, Omega Train has always focused on creating music for those who feel overlooked. Their roots go back to their early days as Last Train Out, eventually leading to the release of “Three Alarm Fire” in 2003, where they first defined their signature sound. That same spirit carries strongly into “You Were There.”

The album moves across different genres without losing cohesion, blending alt-metal, Americana, and indie rock influences into something that feels natural and honest.
