Odelet Releases Ambitious Dual Album “Raindance” and “Raindance In Dub”

California-based but Detroit-born artist Odelet will release her new offering, Raindance, along with its remix counterpart Raindance In Dub, on July 11, 2025. It is the fourth and fifth studio release of Odelet and production duo Everlasting Tape, continuing their experimentation in what she terms “Surrealist R&B”.

Acclaimed for its genre-defying sound and lo-fi production quality, Odelet performs almost all of the instruments on Raindance, mixed entirely analog by multiple award-winning producer Larry Crane. The new release is the sequel to 2022’s The Angels Album, following its highly acclaimed digital release Pisces Pie.

Its companion remix album, Raindance In Dub, reworks 1970s dub sound in an ambitious new way. In combination with new installments of her award-winning TV series Everlasting Tape, 2025 is Odelet’s career highpoint as an innovator in the industry
