MATTOCK return with heartfelt Americana on Daughters

MATTOCK are set to release their second album Daughters in early Summer 2026, continuing their journey through richly layered Americana-rock. Formed in Southern Maryland in 2022, the band brings together decades of experience and a shared instinct for blending folk rock, indie, punk, and classic rock into a sound that feels both grounded and fresh.

Daughters was crafted as a home recording project, built from the contributions of a close-knit group of musicians working from their own spaces. With songs written by Casey and Jason and refined over a year of rehearsals, the album captures an intuitive and organic energy. The recording process builds on the approach developed during their debut Songs About Birds, using live feel and chemistry as the foundation.

The result is a sincere and thoughtfully assembled record that highlights MATTOCK’s commitment to authentic songwriting and adventurous arrangements.
