LX8 unveils Ghosts of Sound – TANIT TRANCE ANTHEM

LX8 has just released Ghosts of Sound – TANIT TRANCE ANTHEM, a euphoric trance remix that merges electronic power with ancient Mediterranean mysticism. The track blends shimmering synth pads with darbouka drum rhythms, the haunting tones of the Berber flute, and the depth of the oud, all steeped in the sensory soundscape of ancient Carthage and its Phoenician goddess Tanit.

This new interpretation of his cult dance track Ghosts of Sound is offered in two versions: a sprawling six-minute club mix and a punchy four-minute radio edit. Both are part of a forthcoming double LP concept album connected to The Panharmonion Chronicles, a science fiction and alternative history novel series created and written by Henry Chebaane, the artist behind LX8.

The story of The Panharmonion Chronicles follows Alex Campbell, a multi-cultural music composer who battles inner struggles, hidden supernatural powers, and a violent cult across time. In the upcoming second volume Ghosts of Sound, set for release in early 2026, Alex uses electronic dance music as a weapon of courage against imperial oppression.

With this latest release, LX8 continues to expand the immersive world of his novels into music.
