Jacksonville-based singer-songwriter Kevin Driscoll has released his latest single, The Maine Thing, a reflective acoustic track that captures both searching and stillness. Born from a guitar riff discovered along the rugged coast of Maine, the song evolved into a deeply personal meditation on clarity in a noisy world.

Driscoll performs nearly every part of the track himself, layering vocals, guitar, and banjo drones with a raw, intimate touch. The only outside contribution comes from Argentinian violinist Damien Bolotin, whose soaring solo was recorded in Buenos Aires and adds a striking emotional depth.
