Karen Salicath Jamali unveils Dream-Inspired Piano Music “Angel Haniel’s Clearing”

Karen Salicath Jamalli’s latest work, the piano piece Angel Haniel’s Clearing, is a soul-stirring piece existing between the realms of dream, sound, and spirit. The composition came to life on the artist’s hands last July 2025 and came to her hands not through theory or written description but as a vision-granted gift in a sleep as the culmination of her own multi-year artistic process started during her 2012 near-death experience.

A multi award-winner as composer and pianist today, Jamali’s experience is utterly unprecedented. Three years unconscious from her accident before the time she started to receive music in her sleep foreshadowed the beginning of a highly fertile career in music that has encompassed over 2,500 compositions, eight records, and eight solo concerts alone at Carnegie Hall.

Angel Haniel’s Clearing emerged from stillness and transmuted from the vibration of Archangel Haniel, the loving spiritual being who embodied grace and emotional clarity. The outcome is a higher-toned solo piano composition that speaks from gentleness and healing. Jamali reduces the music not only as being listened to but as a vibration imprinted on the subtle body level—conjuring peace and feminine strength.

This tape was expertly managed by veteran engineer Maria Triana who also recorded such all-time-greats as Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan and Itzhak Perlman. This ensured the original raw healing vibration of the composition was maintained.

Single’s cover art includes an original painting from Jamali that has the same emotional content that prompted the music. She hopes his recitation provides the listener peace and understanding—“a sensation of light returning unto thy heart.”
