JEAN-PHILIPPE RUELLE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “IMPULSEIN”

Electronic music artist and composer Jean-Philippe Ruelle is proud to announce the release of his latest single, Impulsein, on November 22, 2024. With a bold approach to mixing electronic soundscapes with emotional depth, Ruelle delivers a compelling sonic journey that explores the fleeting beauty of human connection.

Impulsein is a musical narration that runs through two different acts. The first part is energetic, electrifying, and all about the thrill of an uncurbed love impulse. Dynamically rhythmical, captivating vocal performance, and intoxicating melody-Ruelle masterfully pictures the energy of an instant romantic connection. It’s an exhilarating wave of sound that reflects both the intensity and vitality of such a moment.

From extreme turbulence, the second movement veers to introspection. A grand piano acts as the platform for one painfully strong vocal improvisation-mighty with feeling, albeit sans words. This makes it slower and more relaxing so the notes seem to be scattered through in tender delivery, sweet in the memory of an insignificant love.

Ruelle’s work continues to be pushed out of its boundaries by the influences from the great Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre. At over eight minutes long, Impulsein is quite a bold gamble in its structure and style. Indeed, it does pay off by ushering listeners into a quite new and moving experience.
