Friday Project Releases Debut Album Nine Lives
Friday Project celebrates a major milestone today with the release of their debut album Nine Lives. The Oakville trio, made up of Jack Galloway on vocals and guitar, Aidan Girardo on drums, and Noah King on bass, has been building toward this moment since forming in Grade 8. Now 17, the band delivers nine original songs that they first wrote at age 15, each shaped through a full year of dedicated production.
Tracks like Capitola Coast, Pick Me Up (When I Fall), and Something, Anything have already drawn attention, showcasing the group’s ability to blend influences from Blink-182, Dominic Fike, and Nirvana into a fresh and diverse rock sound. Recorded in Jack’s Great Room under the guidance of producer Geoff Hlibka, the album captures an energetic and heartfelt performance style that reflects the band’s growth and passion.
With Nine Lives finally out, Friday Project steps confidently into a new chapter of their musical journey.
