Fiona Ross Marks New Single Release, “Let Your Soul Shine,” A Week Prior to Double Album Launch

Fiona Ross, a multi-award winning jazz musician, journalist and Women in Jazz Media founder, will be publishing her upcoming single “Let Your Soul Shine” on April 25, 2023. The song is a part of the buzz around her double album Moments In My Notebook, which is set to release on May 30, 2025. The piece serves as an encouraging reminder of the innate resilience and self-worth each individual has; words which many people need to hear in the current climate.

Ross came up with “Let Your Soul Shine” after a coincidental inspirational moment while browsing market stalls. She remembers being captivated by a stall that displayed ‘Let Your Soul Shine,’ explaining, “I walked home, sat at the piano, and the song just poured out in ten minutes.” Celebrate our inner strength and resilience encapsulated beautifully in a song meant to help us remember we all have an inner light, a reminder the world truly needs right now.

The unveiling of Moments In My Notebook is set to become a hallmark in Fiona Ross’ career, as this album will contain her 100th original piece. The album describes an experience of love, loss, and imagination, combining soft ballads with the vibrant beats of Latin jazz. With 21 songs, Ross gives her listeners a reflection of her life experiences that she has captured in stories through the art of song. On the same day, fans will also be able to listen to the second single from the album titled, ‘I Don’t Want Money’.
