Ferdinand Rennie has returned to a song close to his heart with the release of the remake version of Someone to Remember Me, now out worldwide. Originally recorded in 2010, the track has been given a fresh, dynamic sound in collaboration with his longtime producer Alan Vukelic. Written by Wayne Hector and Steve Robson, and published by Sony ATV Music Publishing Ltd and V2 Music Publishing Ltd, this emotional pop ballad shows how a song, like a fine whisky, can mature beautifully over time.

Born in Austria and now living on the west coast of Scotland, Ferdinand Rennie has enjoyed a rich and varied career. His credits include television appearances for Austrian Broadcasting’s Eurovision Song Contest eliminations, major German TV shows, and leading roles in musicals such as Les Misérables, Elisabeth, Beauty and the Beast, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has also made his mark in charity work, producing the heartfelt Drying Little Tears for the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation, and performing for high-profile audiences including Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco.

Rennie’s versatility shines through his interpretations of beloved hits like Snow Patrol’s Run, Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, and The Greatest Showman’s Never Enough, which he performed on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022. His recent work in 2025 includes the powerful ballads Unbelieving Eyes and A Wing and a Prayer.
