Fendahlene Releases New Single “Silent Treatment” – A Brutally Honest Holiday Anthem

Indie rock duo Fendahlene is back with their newest single, Silent Treatment, an electric investigation into the emotional turmoil that always seems to come to a head around the holidays. In time for Christmas, this perfectly captures the stress and unsaid tensions that can arise among family gatherings and general festive chaos.

The result, “Silent Treatment”, was recorded at Urchin Studios in London with respected producer Dan Cox and drummer Matt Ingram, and pulses along on gritty electric guitars, an unrelenting bassline, and dynamic key changes. A stop-start arrangement reflects the fits and starts of holiday conflicts; the raw, “hey yeah” chorus sings the way the situation can escalate in the blink of an eye.

The new single follows the critically acclaimed album High and Low and Back Again and the When the Hit Began EP and is the first of seven releases lined up for 2025. With Silent Treatment, Fendahlene offers an indie rock sound both modern and nostalgic, energetic yet deeply relatable.
