At the bridge, there’s a change. ELENA demonstrates how though at the start she was silenced and broken, she learned something. She doesn’t feign hurt, but informs us she’s good now. The last line, as she informs us she’ll be filled with another, has an inner hope. It won’t undo the pain, but it reveals she does think there’s healing and love ahead. The lyrics are minimal but powerful, and there’s real emotion most humans can associate with.
