DJ Super Will Unleashes Emotion and Creativity in ‘Love & Distortion’

DJ Super Will has returned with a fiery and passionate new EP, Love & Distortion, on May 2, 2025. Recorded in his basement music lab on FL Studio, the start-from-scratch effort takes the highs and lows of the last two or three years—divorce, moving away, and finding a romantic partner—all and makes a solid musical statement out of it.

Topping it all is the standout title track Love & Distortion, which has already been garnering praise from critics with its sonic expressiveness and raw emotion. Each and every track on the EP is a portal to the inner landscape of DJ Super Will and marries electronic textures to narrative lyrics. His ability to express complicated feeling acoustically makes the project both intimate and mass-friendly.

Collaborating remotely with guest vocalists, DJ Super Will adds soul and finesse to his beats without losing the rough-around-the-edges quality of a very intimate project. The result is an album that is as much a sonic success as it is a detox experience.

Audiences may catch Super Will live in upcoming months with dates booked in Detroit (June early), Blissfest (July), and Pittsburgh (also July). The shows will be as emotionally charged as in Love & Distortion.
