Q: What is your inspiration for writing “Ricky”?
A: My upbringing and the valuable lessons learned from my family and mentors inspired “Ricky”.

A: The song deals with loyalty, family, self-preservation, being oneself.

A: The advice from my parents especially my father is about being loyal to one’s brothers and about avoiding harm.

A: It was a product of my own life story and background. This means it comes out real due to use of colloquial language, slang as well as cultural references.
Q: Tell me more on how you created rhythm in your lyrics
A: To enhance the overall impact of lyrics I used repetition, rhyme scheme and a dynamic flow.

A: My delivery of this poetry is meant to be bluntly intense drawing the listener into lyrical immediacy thereby promoting vicarious involvement in narrative events taking place.

A: Rickyserved as a mentor figure that played a pivotal part in my life guiding me along the path towards success.

A. I hope those who listen get to see that they should stick to their families and never forget about their loyalties but respect themselves if there are hazards on their way.

A. “Ricky” signifies my artistic progression while still adhering to authenticity and storytelling in music making process.

A.The name ‘Ricky’ was granted in honor of the invaluable lessons I took from my mentor, as a way of appreciating his impact on my life and career.

A: The main difficulty was that of ensuring that the song fully addressed the themes depicted in it without losing its narrative and coherence.

A. “Ricky” speaks much about me as an individual artist whose songs are based on personal experiences thus it is more introspective and autobiographical.

A. Collaborating with talented producers and musicians was part of my creative journey in coming up with a sonically rich tune that would match the lyrics of the song.

A: My hope is that Ricky will deeply touch people’s hearts, helping them rethink their attitudes towards things they value or experience and engaging them into dialogue on loyalty, family, personal growth within music industry etc.

A: I want to keep discussing sincerity and self-expression in my songs as an artist, with “Ricky” being the basis for future works that will share similar themes and go beyond other limitations to develop my artistic boundaries.
