Dead Hazards Unveil Sonic Experimentation On Debut Album ‘Saline’

Anonymous alt rock/metal collective Dead Hazards are stepping into the limelight with their debut LP Saline on April 20th. The album consists of 13 tracks with a uniquely experimental take on sludgy folk rock jazz fusion.

Saline promises to deliver an experience of evocative voices oscillating between operatic intonation and grungy belting, intertwined with fuzz drenched guitar riffs and punchy electronic drum hits. Tracks such as Lazyeye showcase the band’s adapting classic rock into modern heavy motifs, whilst in others like Cripping faith, more adventurous textures colored with nature soundscapes and artwork turned into audio are explored—imagine electric violins, Zippo lighters used as percussion, and nature crafting soundscapes.

The album was crafted over the year with the help of engineer João Janz for mixing. Saline reveals the rawness of a first attempt, alongside careful structure and thought put into its creation. Dead Hazards’ powerful and unorthodox realm is explored through the single “Prime,” which is now available.
