A: It was a lot of me just being very honest and vulnerable. Using my own experiences and emotions to really get what I felt across.

A: To demonstrate how all-consuming it is, you know? It’s an unending desire for more regardless of what happens after.

A: So it is like that escapism right? That momentary elation which comes from indulgence in one vice or another, even if it’s only a minute.

A: Yeah, then again, I think they kind of capture how overpowering addiction itself feels; as if it’s hurtling towards you at full speed with no room for denial.

A: This part gets right to the core of everything. It becomes a constant tussle between wanting to break free from the addiction cycle while still feeling like being drawn into them even though all good sense says that shouldn’t be happening at all..

A: I thought ending with “begging for more” brought out the theme of addiction and how speakers find themselves not able to run away from its clutch. You know?

A: They really bring in much more depth and emotion to the song, don’t you think? They allow us to personally identify with the speaker’s struggles.

A: I guess, I hope they will get an understanding of how complicated addiction can be and perhaps feel a little less isolated in their own battle against it.

A: Yeah well, I mean, without going into much specific detail, Beg is definitely relating to some personal instances where I’ve struggled with being addicted and trying to take control back.

A: It was openly shared and experimented a lot, dig? We worked as a team to make sure that the lyrics communicated well to the audience.

A: Yes, I mean I can’t say for certain but I think addiction and desire will still be explored in some of our music. These are deeply personal issues that I feel like plunging into even more.
