Coma Beach Unveil the “Passion/Bliss” EP, the Final Chapter in their “Scapegoat Revisited” Triptych

The new Coma Beach record, Passion/Bliss, is the third and final installment in their “Scapegoat Revisited” EP triptych, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album The Scapegoat’s Agony (1995). The EP features two mind-bending tracks: “Passion” and “Bliss.”

“Passion” and “Bliss” are the seventh singles from The Scapegoat’s Agony, which follows the emotional journey of an unnamed antihero in a no-end vicious circle of emotional turmoil and apocalyptic visions. On “Passion,” the antihero faces the absence of well-being in his emotions, while on “Bliss,” the character gets overtaken by total mental breakdown, smitten with chaotic visions of a doomed world. Both are slightly shorter versions of their album counterparts and give a fresh look into the themes of pain, isolation, and despair.

With Passion/Bliss, Coma Beach wraps up this powerful and visionary tribute to their debut album, leaving an indelible mark on listeners’ emotions.
