Chloe Tsangaris Confronts Betrayal with Her New Single Elephant in the Room

Sunshine Coast artist Chloe Tsangaris has released her compelling second single, Elephant in the Room, from her debut album, showcasing a confident transition into pop rock. The track blends poignant storytelling with nuanced guitar arrangements and expressive vocals, capturing a deeply personal narrative of confronting betrayal and emotional growth.

Recorded at Glasshouse Studios beneath Mount Ngungun, Chloe worked closely with long-time collaborator Angus Woodhead and Golden Guitar winner Brendan Radford, whose guitar work elevates the track into a gritty, guitar-forward anthem. Originally written as a piano-driven ballad, Elephant in the Room evolved over four years into a raw, emotionally resonant pop-rock piece, incorporating a Leslie organ for added texture.

Drawing inspiration from Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift, and ‘90s rock bands like Matchbox Twenty, Chloe’s latest release highlights her artistic growth and willingness to explore new musical territory while maintaining the heartfelt storytelling her fans love. Elephant in the Room marks a pivotal moment in her journey, signaling an exciting new chapter in her sound and live performances.
