Los Angeles artists Cashus King and Big O have released Water to Wine, a deeply conceptual hip-hop album that invites listeners into a thoughtful exploration of transformation, renewal, and purpose. Built around the powerful biblical metaphor of turning water into wine, the project stands as a cohesive artistic statement that values storytelling, growth, and intentionality from beginning to end.

The album was born from a creative partnership that began in January 2026 when Cashus King and Big O first collaborated on a feature for L.O.U.’s “Mornings Were Head Nod & Apple Jacks.” What started as a single musical connection quickly evolved into a full-length project fueled by shared vision and artistic chemistry. Big O takes the role of sole producer and arranger throughout the album, crafting a unified sonic landscape that supports the record’s central themes.

At the heart of Water to Wine is the idea of personal evolution. Water symbolizes beginnings, raw potential, and the foundation of life itself, while wine represents what can emerge through faith, perseverance, time, and intention. Inspired by the miracle at Cana in the Book of John, the album uses recurring liquid imagery to guide listeners through a complete narrative of growth, struggle, reflection, and ultimately transformation.
