Everyday

Q: How did the theme of resilience and perseverance in “Everyday” come about?
The text has no specific personal reason, it is rather due to the mostly negative news from the world and people’s reactions to it. It calls on us not to stand still or give up… but to keep going and look ahead, then we can achieve a great deal… we are certainly counting on it!

Q: Many times the words refer to “moving on.” Could you tell me more about what this means for you, personally as well as an artist?
For us, “moving on” means not to get discouraged and carry on, even if you think the situation is hopeless. This is the only way to develop further and make your life a better one. Perseverance is an important quality, both at school and in everyday life as an artist.

Q: The line ‘Take your chance to find vanilla sky’ is rather thought-provoking. What does vanilla sky stands for in the song?
When you think of ‘Vanilla Sky’, you think of the movie and the picture of Monet. In the film, his dreams come true when he is in the program. Based on this, we mean in the lyrics that you work every day to make your dreams and wishes come true. Here, the journey itself can also be the goal.

Q: How did your personal experiences shape up the message of seizing moments in “Everyday”?
When you write a song, personal experiences and thoughts naturally always flow into it. But this time there was no specific event, it’s more of a reflection on everyday news and the things that approach you from outside.

Q: It is often said that time flies by. While relating with time, how did you view it from your perspective in relation to its content?
Well, it does fly by, especially if you are busy. And that’s what the song wants to encourage, and for us it also flew by when writing the song. The line “If you think time is just passing by”, in which we address the topic of time in the song, is about the fact that sometimes you have the feeling that nothing is moving forward and you just let time slip away.

Q: What emotional response do you hope listeners will have when they hear repeated encouragement to ‘move on’?
We hope that the song will trigger a positive mood in the listener, both in terms of its musical charisma and the lyrics. Not every situation is as hopeless as it seems at first. And if you ‘keep going’ you can also overcome obstacles…

Q: Where did ideas such as flying, swimming and sun come from while writing lyrics for this song?
The words are metaphors for different feelings: flying means that every day you dream of being somewhere else, escaping your tasks and the problems associated with them. Swimming across an ocean means that you have to cope with a large number of these tasks and overcome obstacles every day. The sun represents the goal of achieving a better future.

Q: The future will make everything new – what optimistic line! In what way can one remain hopeful about future based on this statement? This is a reaction to the constant negative news of everyday life, whether at school or in the news. If you continue to work on yourself, you can improve the situation and thus also the future – so that you can perhaps call your life a “new” one.

Q.What message should we take home from “…everyday time is right?”
There’s no need to wait, you can make the world a better place every day, even if it’s only in small ways. Postponing problems does not solve them, on the contrary, it is usually counterproductive. So, you can take the line as encouragement to take action yourself, to seize the opportunities that present themselves every day.

Q: How did balance between self-assessment and motivation become possible to maintain in the lyrics?
Did we succeed? We didn’t have this goal in mind when writing the text…

Q: Can you talk about a specific event in your life that relates to moving on theme in this song?
We don’t have a key personal experience for this, but it’s an important quality to be prepared to keep going, to not give up and get the best out of yourself… At least that’s how we approach our minor or major problems…

Q: How do you interpret “everyday can stop the fight” when it comes to personal conflicts?
Every day there is an opportunity to resolve or at least ease inner, personal and all other conflicts… starting the day with this attitude is a good start.

Q: Does hope feature in “Everyday”’s words? Sure, ‘Everyday’ somehow implies that there will be a new day… and so there is hope. It also shows that something can change (for the better) every day.

Q: What does the phrase used by this song, seize opportunities before time runs away, mean to you personally?
If you are unsure, sometimes you need courage to do something. this is the invitation not to miss your chances

Q: To what extent “Everyday” is applicable to different people from all walks of life? At some point, everyone is probably at a point where they need a little push and some courage to face life. Our song is a reminder that it can be worthwhile to look ahead and take the initiative. We hope to be able to give the listener a positive mood with this song.
