Brood22 Releases New Enthralling Track “this again”

Brood22, the Northwest’s rain-soaked solo project, has released their new single “this again.” The tune is a somber teaser for their upcoming EP and is steeped in a rich tapestry of sonic textures that take cues from the Arizona-born artist’s beginnings.

“this again” reflects lost control and pain of codependency to the textured, dark mood of the guitar. The introduction of a low, atmospheric guitar hook invites listeners in to a reflective space as swells of the lead guitar create a sense of flow and feeling in ebbs. Vocals glide in above the sound, adding intimacy and thoughtfulness to the tone. Toward the middle of the song, overdriven guitars erupt in a distorted tide, finishing the song with a fuzzed-out repeated riff.
