Ben Ripani Reveals a Personal EP: Pangea
Singer-songwriter from Nashville, Ben Ripani has recently come up with his latest EP titled Pangea. This new EP is an honest representation of a very powerful period of personal and artistic development for Ripani. After making a successful return to the world of music in 2025 with a song “Weigh” Ripani felt motivated by a series of songs which became the basis of this new EP.
Pangea talks about loss, grief, and transformation that happen during middle age period of life through Ripani’s experience of losing one’s parents and ending up divorcing. In contrast to his previous songs that were aimed at commercial success, these new songs were created just because Ripani needed to tell his true story and to feel honest.
The EP was recorded at RaxTrax in Chicago with Rick Barnes, mixed by Zach Canella in Nashville, and mastered by Will Borza at Seismic Mastering in Los Angeles. In addition, Ripani collaborated again with some of his long-time colleagues along with Nashville musicians.
Fans of Ben Ripani will be able not only to listen but also to enjoy songs from his new EP Pangea by watching his performances. On July 18 Ben Ripani will be playing in The Cobra in East Nashville and on August 28 at Montrose Saloon in Chicago.
