**A:** I wrote “Lost in the Light” through my experiences of love and loss and watching how relationships can be complicated. I wanted to examine emotions and struggles that come along with love’s ups and downs.
2. **Q:** The song’s lyrics are deeply introspective and emotive. Can you tell us about your creative process in writing such poignant lyrics?
**A:** For me, songwriting is an intimate act that is healing. I take cues from my own real life feelings, striving to portray such emotions genuinely through lyrics. It involves capturing human emotion at its core so as to connect with listeners viscerally.
3. **Q:** The imagery of light and darkness is prominent throughout the song. What significance does this symbolism hold for you?
**A:** In this song, light imagery symbolizes hope, clarity, understanding while dark represents confusion, pain and uncertainty. This juxtaposition shows inner turmoil experienced by the narrator through their feelings.
4. **Q:** The refrain, “So if someone could see me now / Let them see you,” is particularly powerful. Can you elaborate on the meaning behind these lines?
**A:** These lines express a yearning for connection with the world outside oneself by the narrator. They want empathy, recognition—they want somebody who would truly look into them or their partner for what they are worth; it represents an essential need for companionship and support in times of emotional trouble experienced by many people.
5. **Q:** The song explores themes of forgiveness and redemption. Why was it important for you to address these themes?
**A:** Forgiveness plus redemption constitute fundamental parts of humanity’s existence as known to me better than anything else does-otherwise said; forgiveness has powers to heal those pains minded individuals to do things right. Touching on such issues leads to personal and relational growth.
6. **Q:** How do you hope listeners will interpret and connect with “Lost in the Light”?
**A:** I just want people to hear things that they can relate based on love, loss and endurance expressed in this song. Whether it is an individual’s experience of similar emotions or just the beauty of sounds in a song, I desire that it stirs up inside persons feelings that make sense.

**A:** The making of “Lost in the light” involved lots of collaborative work as well as spontaneity. We set out to establish a warm atmosphere at our studio where we could capture raw emotions and intimacy from the song. It was heartwarming and real, so I’m satisfied with how everything turned out.

**A:** My desire is that listeners come out with a sense of hope, resilience, and understanding. The purpose of “Lost in the Light” is to provide comfort and inspiration to all those who are looking to find solace or comfort or even just for someone they can connect with while dealing with their emotions.
