AquariO Launches a New Era with Debut Single “Get Some FCKN Therapy”
Los Angeles-based electronic artist AquariO introduces his new musical identity with “Get Some FCKN Therapy,” released today, September 25, 2026. The single marks the first transmission from a project built around electronic experimentation, emotional honesty and complete creative independence.
Formerly known as COATS, AquariO steps into this new chapter with a sound shaped by electronic pop, alternative dance, Future Garage, electroclash, House and experimental pop. Rather than settling into one clear genre, he creates his own space where fractured rhythms, atmospheric vocals and futuristic textures can exist alongside raw confession and dance-floor energy.
“Get Some FCKN Therapy” captures that vision immediately. Running for 3:25 and driven by a steady 120 BPM pulse, the track moves through a dark, minor-leaning atmosphere before building toward a larger and more cathartic final section. Its provocative title reflects the song’s balance of humor, urgency and self-awareness, turning emotional tension into something designed to be released rather than hidden.
The single also introduces the wider world AquariO is building. Inspired by deeply personal extraterrestrial experiences and a lifelong connection to something beyond the ordinary, his artistic universe combines alien imagery, futuristic visual storytelling and emotional confrontation. Cobalt tones, acid green, liquid chrome and what he describes as “alien softness” form part of an identity made for listeners who feel misunderstood, different or unwilling to perform perfection.
Every AquariO song is written and engineered in-house, giving the project a strong sense of creative unity. With “Get Some FCKN Therapy,” AquariO does more than introduce a new name. He opens the door to a distinctive electronic universe where vulnerability becomes strength, weirdness becomes magnetic and emotional chaos can finally become release.
