Therefore, we aimed at capturing that feeling of awe and indebtedness in those lines acknowledging where we have come from.
However, the song also makes reference to a spiritual or higher presence watching over the narrator; can you say more about this metaphorical image? A: The references to someone up above’ and blessings reflect our personal faiths as they are important aspects that are beyond ourselves. It is about God being there when one needs him most as well as admitting their struggles can be shared too.

A: When we perform “Hold On” live, we try capturing the same intensity and raw emotions as in the recording. To make the audience feel part of it on an emotional level, they should be engrossed in performance which has power.
