New Single Release: Guillotine by Todd Hearon

Todd Hearon’s newest single release is called “Guillotine”. It was extracted from his latest album, “Impossible Man”. The song, produced by REM producer Don Dixon, merges dark imagery from the lyrics into a compeling multi-layered instrumentation. The lineup includes Hearon on acoustic guitar and vocals, Dixon on bass, Peter Holsapple on piano, Rob Ladd on drums, and Sam Wilson on electric guitar.

“Guillotine” deals with the very unsettling moments following the drop of a blade and metaphorically about relationships that get severed, life’s last glances. Poetic lyricism mixed with ’90s alternative influences, Hearon shines through on this mesmerizing soundscape.
