A: It was a deeply personal experience for me to write “Only One.” I wanted to explore the complexity of love and relationships as well as the emotions that go with yearning for a unique connection with someone.

A: I used such images as “reflective like some 3M” to show how attractive and magnetic this person is. I wanted my readers to see them as confident, successful and irresistible.

A: This song has a lot of feeling from desiring, vulnerability, hopefulness and resilience. It talks about the ups and downs of love, it also shows how uncertain it can be when one opens up their heart to another person.

A: My belief is that love grows with time. Patience and understanding are required while going through challenges together. All these were qualities which would help me build strong relationships that would last forever.

A: The recurring line “Wanna be your only one” is an emotional plea for clarity or assurance. It is all about wanting to be someone’s number one priority or being exclusive or secure in the relationship.

A: I would want people listening to this song get attached at some point since they could know that others too have undergone similar experiences in their lives when it comes to matters love and relationships. Basically, this song should touch them on an emotional level making them relive their entire path.

A: The honesty and vulnerability of it, I think. It isn’t a song that romanticizes love but rather it delves into the complications and uncertainties that come with being in one. I wanted to capture the real and raw emotions we all feel in matters of the heart.

A: The experiences I had gone through as well as those of others helped me come up with this song. However, I believe that ultimately it is about my journey in relationships and love.
