Dr. M. Introduces Adult Metal with Debut Album “Follow Me”

Dr. M. has released his first album, Follow Me, an ambitious nine-track project built around a new subgenre he calls Adult Metal. Combining elements of Adult Contemporary with Heavy Metal, the album introduces Dr. M.’s own approach to bringing two different musical worlds together.

The self-employed musician, songwriter and producer wrote all of the music on Follow Me, as well as most of the lyrics. He also programmed the drums and other instruments and handled the entire mixing process himself, giving the record a strong personal identity from beginning to end.

All nine songs feature the vocals of Maria Moon, whose talent plays an important role throughout the album. Several other musicians also contributed to the project, adding further depth to Dr. M.’s vision.

For the final stage of production, Follow Me was mastered by Grammy-winning mastering engineer Svante Forsbäck, completing an impressive and carefully developed debut.
