Stratafield Explores Evolution and Quantum Worlds in New Video for “Qubits”

Atlanta-based artist Stratafield has unveiled “Qubits,” an imaginative new instrumental single accompanied by a visually striking music video that takes viewers on an extraordinary journey from the inner workings of a quantum computer to the far reaches of the cosmos.

More than just a music video, “Qubits” feels like a short science-fiction film set to an energetic progressive house soundtrack. Conceived alongside the music from the very beginning, the visual narrative follows three colorful qubits as they construct intricate honeycomb structures inside a stunning superconducting quantum computer. These creations eventually spark the emergence of primitive life forms, setting in motion a metaphorical story of evolution.

As the track unfolds, the video expands its scope. The qubits continue their work beneath the water, where life becomes increasingly complex and dynamic. The journey reaches its most memorable moment when a mudskipper leaves the safety of its school and ventures onto land, symbolizing a major evolutionary leap. From there, the camera moves into the creature’s eye, revealing an entire galaxy within and hinting at humanity’s future journey toward the stars.

The ambitious concept highlights Stratafield’s ability to blend music and visual storytelling into a single artistic vision. According to the artist, the entire storyline was already formed while the music was being written, allowing both elements to evolve together rather than separately.

Created through a hybrid production process that combines AI-generated visuals with detailed human editing, the video maintains a carefully crafted feel throughout. Every transition and visual sequence appears designed to move in harmony with the music, creating an immersive viewing experience.

Stratafield is the creative project of Atlanta musician Peter Lewman, whose work often blends cinematic ideas with influences drawn from electronica, folk-inspired textures, and progressive sounds. With “Qubits,” he delivers a fascinating audiovisual experience that transforms complex scientific concepts into a captivating story about life, evolution, and exploration.

The official video for “Qubits” is available now, offering a unique journey that is as thought-provoking as it is visually impressive.
