Q: What inspired you to write “Lost You”?
A: I was driven by my own personal experiences and what I’ve seen in love, loss, and longing. I wanted to cross examine the complexities of human relationships and the emotional struggle that comes with them.
Q: Can you walk us through your creative process in writing the song?
A: Normally, I start with a feeling or emotion that needs expressing. In this case, I was drawing inspiration from myself and everything around me. For “Lost You,” my goal was to capture the bittersweetness of love and how hard it is to let go.
Q: What themes did you aim to convey through the lyrics of “Lost You”?
A: With “Lost You” I focused on themes of love, loss, longing, and emotional chaos. There is so much depth when it comes to human relationships and it’s easy for emotions to clash when confronted by a romantic relationship’s end.
Q: What linguistic devices did you employ to enhance the emotional impact of the song?
A: To make sure the listener could vividly imagine each scene. Overlap in key themes played a role along with words that contrasted one another but still made sense together. Additionally, sensory imagery helped achieve an immersive experience for listeners

A: My hope is that each listener interprets “Lost You” in their own special way. Not only do I want them to connect with their personal interpretation but also feel a connection between their past experiences as well as resonate it with other music they enjoy.

A: Through “Lost You,” my message consists of resilience, self-discovery, and the transformative power of love . Loss can be painful but finding beauty within these emotions are signs of growth down the road.

A: Seeing all the support and appreciation has me feeling gratified and humbled. I’m so grateful for everyone out there who enjoys my music as much as I do because it just motivates me even more to continue creating.

A: I’d like to keep specific details far away but let’s just say that “Lost You” was definitely inspired by certain moments in love, loss, and longing that I’ve experienced throughout life.
Q: How do you think the use of repetition in the song contributes to its emotional impact?
A: By repeating phrases like “Although I’ve lost you / I, I’ll always want you,” it helps convey that no matter what happens these emotions will always be here. It also emphasizes their never-ending longing.
Q: What do you hope listeners take away from “Lost You” after listening to it?
A: With “Lost You,” I hope my listeners will be able to feel what I felt as they listen. They don’t have to have been in the same situation as me, but if they can appreciate the music and experience catharsis, that is enough for me.

A: My music has always been about love, loss, and longing. And this song is no different. It adds depth and complexity to my work while showing growth from where I started.
Q: Were there any challenges in writing/ recording/ producing “Lost You,” if so how did you overcome them?
A: There were plenty of challenges along the way. My main goal was making sure the lyrics matched the rawness of the emotion behind it all. But It definitely took a lot of introspection and emotional commitment to get it done. That being said, I’m definitely proud of how it turned out.
Q: What’s your process like for creating your songs? Do you pull from personal experiences?
A: Honesty, vulnerability, and introspection are key when incorporating personal experiences into my songwriting. While most inspiration comes personally from myself, I always make sure that every song has a universal appeal.
Q: What do you hope your fans take away from “Lost You” ?
A: Since it’s such an emotionally charged piece, I hope my listeners can feel seen through “Lost You.” Love is such a complex feeling when it comes down to it and sometimes just hearing about other people’s feelings can validate theirs.
