Sugar Nova Expand Their Sonic Universe on House of the Jaguar

Denver duo Sugar Nova are preparing to unveil their highly anticipated sophomore album House of the Jaguar on July 7, bringing an exciting new chapter to their evolving sound. Led by vocalist Rachel Eisenstat and producer/multi-instrumentalist Luke Miller, the project builds on the shimmering electronic foundations of their debut while embracing influences from house, disco, soul, and gospel music.

House of the Jaguar features eleven tracks filled with infectious hooks, ethereal moments, and dancefloor-ready grooves. Songs such as “Garden of Desire,” “Darkness Turns to Dawn,” and “Stare into the Sun” showcase the album’s vibrant energy, while “Cool Me Down” welcomes guest contributions from G. Love & Special Sauce. The title track unfolds across two parts, moving from smooth R&B textures into an uplifting gospel house finale.

The album also benefits from an impressive cast of collaborators, including Garrett Sayers of The Motet and Jay Lapp of The Steel Wheels, while mixing duties were handled by Rob Murray, known for work with ODESZA, Sia, and Mark Ronson.
