The New Citizen Kane Unveils Psychedelika Pt.1, a Kaleidoscopic Journey Through Life

After a decade of quiet exploration, The New Citizen Kane is back with a bold, immersive project: Psychedelika Pt.1. Born Kane Michael Luke and now based in London, Kane has long blended melody and memory, creating music that feels like a dream you can dance to. Psychedelika Pt.1 is the first installment of his master project, offering a kaleidoscopic look at life through an unfiltered lens — sometimes surreal, sometimes raw, always vulnerable, and deeply human.

Seventeen tracks deep, Psychedelika Pt.1 spans love, anxiety, philosophy, nightlife, and resilience. Lead single Afterglow, already available to stream, is one of the most intimate moments on the album, confronting anxiety with quiet strength and a sense of fragile beauty. Tracks like My Muse and Bite the Bullet explore creative rebirth and heartbreak with unflinching honesty, while Heads Are Round turns mental chaos into playful, neon-colored wonder. Meanwhile, Ratbag Joy and Well, Damn! Here You Are combine euphoric beats with reflective lyrics, capturing the paradox of joy, desire, and human imperfection.

But Psychedelika Pt.1 is more than sound. Kane has created a direct-to-fan universe with his own label, Citizen Records, offering early digital and limited-edition physical releases alongside a companion app. Fans can stream the full visual album, read blog updates, play synesthesia-inspired games, explore mindfulness practices, and access exclusive merchandise. The launch event will blur the lines between exhibition, installation, and performance, with immersive visuals, scent, and a live performance of select tracks.
