Michellar Embraces Heritage and Harmony with Debut EP “My Alma Latina”

San Francisco-based artist Michellar has released her debut EP, My Alma Latina, bringing together Latin rhythms, heartfelt lyrics, and a powerful message of unity through music and prayer. Released on July 25, the project is a personal and cultural milestone, inspired by her Spanish and Filipino roots.

Featuring tracks like Ave Maria, Samba with Me, and The Deep, the EP highlights Michellar’s ability to fuse tradition with a contemporary sound. Each song was recorded in a different city—San Francisco, Austin, and London—adding a global texture to the work.

Produced by Lloyd Miller of Spirit Song Studios, My Alma Latina is the result of two years of songwriting and collaboration. The EP stands out not only for its musical richness but also for Michellar’s commitment to honoring her heritage and spreading a universal message of hope.
