TWICE DARK Unleashes Gothic Elegance with “Necromantic”
Darkwave fans have reason to rejoice as TWICE DARK presents their spooky new single, “Necromantic.” Premiered in advance of the eagerly awaited album Telekinetic, the song is a hypnotic fusion of goth and electro-industrial music, saturated with melancholy and ghostly sophistication.
Recorded at Postal Recording in Indianapolis, Necromantic whisks listeners off on a ghostly tale of a man lured into the underworld by an apparition in a midnight graveyard. The song features guest vocals from Scott Harris of Hororhaus (Woodstock, NY), adding this already brooding atmosphere a downright chilling depth. TWICE DARK masterfully weaves lament and longing over pulsing beats for a grief-soaked anthem to dominate dance floors and solo late-night drives.
Fronted by Josh Kreuzman, this project has caused quite a stir since its beginning in 2020, seamlessly fusing many of the darker styles into both the darkwave and electronic scenes. From industrial decay to melancholic grandeur, the elements are merged in perfect, intoxicating accord. Drawing from the influences of goth rock, deathrock, EBM, and italo disco, TWICE DARK seals their reputation with Necromantic for writing some of the darkest yet most irrepressibly danceable material.
With the release of Telekinetic this October 18, 2024, Necromantic acts as a great appetizer. So turn it up, dive into the dark, and let TWICE DARK sweep you deep into their gorgeous and haunted world.
